PIKO 28350 – Set of 4 Metropolitan

Characteristics:

New for 2024: The luxuriously equipped Metropolitan Express Train (MET) train sets were in service on the Cologne-Hamburg route between 1999 and 2004.

From the outside, the models impress with their elegant appearance, which is in no way inferior to the original. The perfectly flush, crystal-clear windows provide a view of the interior. All cars feature individually coordinated interiors. Further highlights are the sharply engraved bogies and the detailed replica car floors. Vivid engravings and prototypical paintwork with sharply defined lettering perfectly round off the exterior appearance. On the layout, the powerful BR 101 locomotive hauls the train set with silky smoothness along the tracks. All cars also feature harmonious indirect interior lighting to create a harmonious ambience.
The four-piece car set consists of one Apmz 116.2 express train car, serial number 2, two Apmz 116.4 express train cars, serial numbers 4 and 5, and one Apmkz 116.6 express train car, serial number 6.

The cars are the perfect complement to train set #58150.
