The ARLO Construction Factory, founded by Arnaldo Luizello da Rocha-Brito in 1939, in Porto, was born with the main objective of creating construction boxes of various models in the most varied disciplines of modeling.
Its innovative and patented aspect of multimaterial construction boxes, thus considered because they contain all the various materials necessary for the assembly of the models, were appealing to the creativity of afficionados during the period of World War II, given the difficulty of obtaining imported toys and games.
Today, at 85 years old, already in the fourth generation of the Rocha-Brito family, ARLO – with its new designation “ARLO-Micromodels” – maintains an artisanal production of excellence, incorporating the latest technologies without ever losing the care and authenticity of manual work.
