The MC4E wagons are a type of container wagon (flat wagon) used in the rail transport of goods,
especially in Spain but also in other European countries. With only two axles and capable of transporting 20’, 40’ and 45’
containers at speeds between 100 and 120 km/h, they allow an adequate weight distribution for heavy loads, which makes
them efficient, very flexible and with good intermodal integration. They are mainly used on international routes such as Spain-Portugal, Spain-France (via the Pyrenees) and then with connections to central Europe. In this first phase, PT Trains is pleased to reproduce them in the colours of RENFE – VTG – CAPTRAIN – TRANSFESA – CONTINENTAL RAIL
