The VTG railway transport company bears the name Retrack. Retrack GmbH & Co. KG, based in Hamburg, is a hundred percent subsidiary of VTG Rail Logistics. The company originated when the Bräunert Verwaltung GmbH and Bräunert Eisenbahnverkehr GmbH & Co. KG were renamed. The Retrack network connects the most important economic centres within Europe. Thanks to its own locomotive fleet, consisting of electric and diesel locomotives, VTG Rail Logistics can carry out freight transport as individual wagon transport just as flexibly as groups of wagons or block trains.
