Product Description
Second “Bulli” generation keeps United Parcel Service moving
First the VW T, and now its successor - UPS used to rely on the rugged transporter from Lower Saxony. While in Germany the postal delivery service continued to be a sovereign task performed by the Deutsche Bundespost, in the USA, parcel delivery services had long since been privatised. United Parcel Service put their trust in the VW T1 (Type 2) as early as the fifties and did not hesitate to add the second generation in 1967. The dark brown box van miniaturised by WIKING already bore the golden lettering of UPS.
