The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is considered the classic of all classics – a true automotive legend. The original was once placed on a torsion-resistant lattice tube frame foundation that was fashioned to resemble a race car. Draped over top were the round shapes of the body that sprang from the mind of chief designer Friedrich Geiger. They give this gullwing model its distinct air of luxury and contemporary avant-garde.
