WIKING 083804 – Rolls Royce Silver Wraith

The inky black of the body augmented by light grey flanks between the curved fenders: This was the enviable workplace for chauffeurs of years past who had the privilege of piloting the legendary Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith on the streets of Great Britain. Only 1883 units of this original Rolls-Royce rolled off the production lines – the Silver Wraith was the first new design that the British car company produced after World War II. WIKING’s model-making interpretation of this “Silver Ghost” emanates the charm of the world’s royal houses – with the bi-colour design adding the necessary refinement. WIKING founder Friedrich Peltzer had conducted automotive research himself at the end of the seventies and opted for the classics of the first hour. These classics included the Rolls Royce Silver Wraith, which was miniaturised 160 times shortly afterwards.
